Travel Consultant - Work at home Opportunity

Purpose of Position;
Provide excellent customer service to corporate customers of popular travel internet site by answering inquiries, finding correct solutions.

Primary Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements;
Responsible for all customer inquiries and questions
Provide excellent customer service at all times
Follow up to customer inquiries in a timely manner
Troubleshoot equipment and system problems
Problem solve customers issues on first call
Enters data from customers into software programs
Appropriately communicate with upset customers
Thrives as a team player in a fast-paced environment
Participates in additional training courses
Performs other related duties and assignments
Exercise retention efforts when appropriate
Identify customers who are comparison-shopping
Assisting customer with the correct pricing
Work at home requirements;
Quiet Space/Office - free from any distractions or outside noises while working
27 inch high resolution monitor
Dedicated phone line (any special features to be disabled while working)
High spend broadband internet
Router (must have two free ports)
Commitment and dedication to work from home

Experience, Education and Certification Requirements;
High school diploma or equivalent
College degree preferred
1-2 years of experience with corporate travel agency
2-3 years of experience corporate airline reservations
1-2 years of experience with international offerings
Demonstrated level of expertise in online reservations
Demonstrated expertise level in reissues & exchanges
Demonstrated Professional in customer service
Able to assist in all aspects of arranging/booking travel, including air, rail, hotel, car and alternate ground transportation
Travel agency experience highly desired
Experience and success in telemarketing/sales required
1-3 years of GDS Experience required
1-2 years SABRE Experience required
Language/Communication Requirements;
Excellent written communications skills, email support
Excellent oral communications skills
Excellent telephone skills, including a professional demeanor portrayed to customers demonstrated through ability to ask probing questions, ability to communicate with sense of urgency
Comfortable with callbacks to existing customers
Fluency and comprehension in the language requirements
Accent neutral verbal/written communication skills
Strong listening skills
Ability to appreciate travelers experience
Written skills: excellent grammar; details
Minimum 1-year experience demonstrated use of these communication skills in prior experience.

Fast computer navigation skills (e.g., Web applications, shared folders, operating system)
Ability to search for address locations while speaking with customers, navigate through multiple web applications and windows at one time on a single screen
General database searching skills and handling
High speed data entry speed and accuracy
Ability to multi-task in multiple windows of activity
Basic math skills
Geography skills (countries around the world, latitude, longitude or an aptitude to learn)
International faring skills (or an aptitude to learn them)
Tying 35 WPM as verified by a formal test
ISP skills: sign-up, install, connection, messaging (chat e-mail), navigation, online support, etc.
Proficiency in a multi system environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
