Sr Software Engineer, AWS Identity
Job summaryAre you ready to build something new? Something big? Something interesting? We're looking for an engineer who wants to lead a new project combining automated reasoning with cloud computing.
We're looking for someone who can take promising ideas and scale them to finished solutions.
In this role, you'll design and implement a customer facing service that builds on top of existing automated reasoning services.
You will interact with internal teams and external customers to understand their requirements.
You will apply your knowledge to propose innovative solutions, create software prototypes, and productize prototypes into production systems using software development tools and methodologies.
In addition, you will support and scale your solutions to meet the ever growing demand of customer use.

Apply the acquired knowledge to build tools, find problems, or show the absence of security/safety problems.
Design and build scalable systems that evolve with the growth of AWS.
Learn about automated reasoning services and how they can be used to solve real world problems.
Provide technical leadership and guidance.
Create software prototypes to verify and validate the devised solutions methodologies; integrate the prototypes into production systems using standard software development tools and methodologies.
Can present company-wide technical decisions to the internal technical community and represent the company effectively at technical conferences.
Functional thought leader, sought after for key tech decisions.
Can successfully present ideas to an executive level decision maker.
Mentors and trains the applied scientist community on complex engineering issues.
A day in the lifeSuccessful applicants will have experience defining service architecture, strong development skills and extensive experience in software design, development, testing and operations.
They will also be excellent in working across functional teams, and will meet a high technical bar.
They will need to be a strong leader, able to communicate clearly and inspire others around them, to influence and work with services across AWS.
