Job summaryThe AWS Enterprise Protection Program (EPP) is looking for a Senior Security Analyst who can leverage intelligence from internal and external sources to succeed in proactively identifying and mitigating threats to AWS.
As a member of this growing team, you will be at the forefront of actively thwarting emergent and current threats to our customers and to our company.
The threat environment and the company are both constantly evolving:
your ability to maintain understanding of the security needs of our customers and business will be invaluable as an EPP analyst, as will be your innovation and willingness to take on new challenges.
You will consult with business, legal, and tech teams to develop gap remediation strategies and be proactive in the build-out of sustainable and systematic solutions.
You will be effective both working independently and cooperatively across partner teams, and able to contribute and deliver results whether involved at the level of strategic planning or tactical execution.

This position involves on-call responsibilities, typically for one week every two months.

Key job responsibilitiesManage complex and confidential investigations, providing timely and fact-based reporting to partners and leadership.
Collaborate with Engineering teams to build and develop solutions and tools that identify and mitigate risk.
Translate use cases into technical requirements, and drive actionable results.
Create quantitative feedback mechanisms to drive automation and optimization of analytics and tools.
Perform deep dive analysis of internal and external datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and activities indicative of threat.
Communicate and collaborate with partner teams and the threat intelligence community across Amazon.
Identify and produce metrics to measure effectiveness of analytic capabilities and data to drive business decisions.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
