Job summaryThe Selling Partner Communities and Empowerment (SPCE) organization builds lasting connections with, and helps drive the success of our Selling Partners.
Our Selling Partner News and Forums technology products are used by millions of Selling Partners worldwide to engage with Amazon and foster an active and helpful community and information exchange among Selling Partners.
They also provide valuable insights into Selling Partner sentiment and issues.
We are looking for a talented and experienced designer to lead the creation of user experiences for several new products aimed at re-inventing how millions of our Selling Partners engage with each other and with Amazon.
This designer will thrive in a white space environment where they bring original ideas and fresh approaches to create elegant experiences for an entire suite of new products, such as Seller Forums (aimed at cultivating a collaborative and inclusive Seller Community), and Seller News (used by millions of Selling Partners to learn about new product releases or other announcements).
Millions of Selling Partners will use these new products globally on a daily basis.
These products form a key touch point and shape sellers' perception towards Amazon.
This designer will be at the forefront of defining reimagined and intuitive experiences for a variety of use cases such as enabling our Selling Partners to:
seamlessly navigate between web and mobile app to quickly find answers to their most pressing business problems, engage with other sellers via a video call, or create an interest group to exchange ideas.
They will play a pivotal role in establishing design and user experience standards for all new products developed under the broader Communities org.
They will advocate for accessible design and always strive to work backwards from customer problems and needs.
Finally, this designer will mentor and guide more junior designers working on other initiatives within the broader Communities org.

Key responsibilities for this role:
Translate abstract concepts into simple and elegant user experiences that delight our Selling Partners and internal users Use business requirements, usability findings, customer research, and market analysis to develop scenarios, use cases, and requirements Design wireframes, interactions, high-fidelity mockups, and functional prototypes Craft customer experiences across multiple platforms, including web, app, text, email, and video Present design options to end users, key stakeholders, and product teams for review and feedback Conduct usability testing to assess the success of prototypes and products Collaborate with data scientists to gather and analyze data in order to glean insights to continually improve experiences for our Selling Partners Quickly iterate on multiple design options to arrive at elegant and intuitive solutions for complex requirements Manage ambiguity, work independently and collaboratively within teams, and switch between different tasks in an agile environment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
